TheDEX

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-28

1. Service overview

TheDEX ("the Service") is a bonding-curve token issuance and orderbook DEX platform built on the Metacoin mainnet. Users sign every transaction with MetaWallet, and all trades are permanently recorded on-chain.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years old or older to use the Service.
  • You must comply with the crypto-related laws of your country of residence.
  • Sanctioned countries and individuals are restricted from using the Service.

3. Risk disclosure

Crypto prices can move sharply and your entire principal may be lost. New tokens during the bonding-curve phase are especially low-liquidity and extremely volatile. Investment decisions are entirely your own responsibility; we do not provide investment advice.

4. User-issued tokens

Anyone may issue tokens on this Service. Issuers bear all legal and moral responsibility for their tokens. We do not guarantee the legitimacy, authenticity or value of any issued token. Tokens suspected of fraud, rug pulls or securities-law violations may be disabled without prior notice.

5. Non-custodial principle

We do not custody your private keys or seed phrases. Your assets remain in your personal wallet (MetaWallet). Losses due to lost or leaked private keys are your sole responsibility.

6. Fees

The bonding-curve trading fee is 1.0% (creator 0.3% + platform 0.7%), deducted at trade time. Orderbook trading fees after graduation will be announced separately. Fee rates can be changed via governance vote.

7. Service changes / interruption

We may add, change or discontinue features with prior notice (or post-hoc in emergencies). We are not responsible for losses caused by temporary downtime due to maintenance, chain incidents or legal changes.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Service, issued tokens or trade outcomes.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance for any dispute.
